Quote of the moment:

Without being explicitly stated, the quote implies that when you pee long into an abyss, the abyss also pees into you.

Go back

The bears that love to SHIT!

So, everyone likes those bears that have a bold fascination with their own excrement, right?

Well, I made a series of images as relate to those bears and their inscrutable love of defecation. This is the first in that series.

Also, here's my thought about how the whole original Charmin ad campaign came about:

Hypothetical marketing meeting dialogue -

"Johnson, we need something NEW to sell toilet paper. Something FRESH!"

"People like soft things. Our competitors use angels, babies, puppies and the like... soft seems to work. It implies comfort."

"Yeah, yeah. Soft is fine, but it doesn't show any ZEAL!"

"Sir?"

"Ah, I dunno. I mean everyone needs to use toilet paper, right?"

"Does a bear shit in the woods, sir?"

"Does a... yeah! BEARS!"

"Bears? Like real bears? They're not really considered very soft."

"Nah, nah. We'll have art department whip up some fluffy, cuddly, cartoon bears."

"Could work. But these bears would have to..."

"They would have to use toilet paper."

"Right!"

"Well, what if, now follow me here... what if these bears REALLY LOVED SHITTING!"

"Sir, that's... well... like how much?"

"Like it is the defining moment of their cartoon bear lives every time they take a dump."

"I'll put together a focus group."

"Great! Call arts and see how many dump-taking bears they can have for us by Friday. I think this idea is ready to MOVE!"

end.
